This article is about opening Card Packs. For information about buying Card Packs, see the Buying Card Packs documentation.
Immediately after opening a Card Pack, you will be redirected to its single page. You will see information about the potential rewards inside the Card Pack, which will vary depending on the type of Card Pack.
If the Card Pack is unopened, you will see the message, ‘Card Pack Not Opened’ and a button below labelled ‘Open Pack’. Click the button to open a modal, and then click ‘Open Pack Now’ to confirm your intent to open the Card Pack.
The page will refresh and depending on the Card Pack type, you’ll see a set number of Cards slide up from below in their ‘locked’ state with the rear view and the title, subtitle (if present) and number will be replaced with question marks. A modal will automatically fade in and a counter will start counting up and eventually end to show you how many Power Orbs were in the Card Pack.
The Power Orbs modal will fade out shortly after, allowing you to begin your interactions with the Card Pack. Below each Card is a ‘Reveal’ button.
Click this and the Card above will flip 180 degrees to reveal the front design. The question marks will be replaced with the Card title, subtitle and number. Continue to reveal each Card to fully open the Card Pack – you do not need to reveal the Cards in any specific order, but you must reveal them all to initiate the final sequence.
That final sequence is your Card Sets Progress. After you’ve clicked Reveal on all the Cards in the pack, a new modal will appear.
For each Card type in the Pack it will list any Card Sets they belong to and your progress to completing them (unlocking all Cards in the Set), as well as whether any of the Cards are new. If you’ve already collected all Cards in the Set and have therefore completed the Set, the progress bar will be at 100% and you’ll see the message, ‘100% – SET COMPLETE!’
After the progress bars have filled accordingly, you can close the modal.
Once you’ve revealed a Card, the Reveal button will be replaced by the Flip and Info buttons.
These allow you to flip the Card back to its reverse side (to see the Card’s value for example, which is only on the rear side) and to reveal a pop up box with more detailed information about the Card, including its rarity.
For more information about the Flip and Info Buttons, see the Anatomy of a Card documentation.
My Card Packs
Although you will be redirected to the Card Pack’s single page automatically after buying it, you do not have to open the pack straight away. The site could have crashed or you lost connection after buying the Card Pack. Or you may simply just want to collect multiple Card Packs and open them one after another like Christmas presents : ) Either way, there’s a handy way to keep track of all your Card Packs from your My Card Packs page, which is a sub-page of your My Dashboard page.
You’ll be able to see any of your unopened Card Packs and click the ‘View’ button to jump to the single page and open the pack.
For a more detailed breakdown of the My Card Packs page, see the My Card Packs documentation.
